Women who are dissatisfied with the size of their breasts very often experience a significant psychological boost after breast surgery. Indeed, most of our patients tell us they regret not having had their surgery sooner.
Most women tell us that they considered surgery for years, and are sorry they waited so long to finally have the procedure they wanted. Their reasons for waiting are many: they fear their motivation is just vanity, they feel it is unwise to risk surgery for something that is not a medical necessity, or they feel they can’t justify the cost.
But feeling better about yourself, and improving your sense of your own beauty, desirability and attractiveness -- that’s not vanity. That’s taking positive steps toward greater well-being and enhanced self-esteem. That’s something that should be applauded.
